    5-C EXPANDING COLLET INSTRUCTIONS
    1.)    INSERT THE HAND-E EXPANDING COLLET INTO THE SPINDLE OF MACHINE.
    2.)    CENTER DRAW SCREW MUST BE BACKED OFF AT LEAST FOUR TURNS.
    3.)    WITH THE DRAW TUBE IN THE CLOSED POSITION TIGHTEN DRAW TUBE BY HAND UNTIL PRESSURE IS FELT.
    THEN TIGHTEN TWO ADDITIONAL TURNS TO---PRELOAD COLLET FOR ACCURACY.
    4.)    WITH ALLEN WRENCH TIGHTEN DRAW SCREW UNTIL ARBOR EXPANDS APPROXIMATELY .002.
    MACHINE ARBOR TO SIZE REQUIRED. RELEASE COLLET CLOSER, PLACE PART ON ARBOR AND EXPAND COLLET WITH CNC HYDRAULIC’S, AIR OR LEVER ON MACHINE. ADJUST DRAW SCREW FOR DESIRED EXPANDING FORCE.
    MACHINE PART AS REQUIRED. .0002 T.I.R. CAN BE ACHIEVED WITH PRECISION MACHINING TECHNIQUES.
